Scanning Tunneling Microscopy + Tip-Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy + Atomic Force Microscopy System (UNISOKU USM-1400 SNOM-SPM)

STM-SNOM-AFM (Unisoku usm-1400 SNOM-SPM system)

This system is constructed by liquid helium vessel and liquid nitrogen shield, located under SPM stage. The system includes STM, AFM, SNOM functions, and it can be applied for wide variety of surface science researches in physics, chemistry, and materials science.

Key Features:

(1) Cryostat is located under the SPM stage to enable easy operation and wide variety of applications.

(2) Internal vibration isolation is included.

(3) Variable temperature operation down to 2 K STM, AFM, SNOM (Tip-enhanced Raman spectroscopy).

(4) Molecular beam epitaxial deposition and  in-situ deposition of gases (O2, H2O, N2) and organic molecules.

(5) In-situ and ex-situ Raman can be realized with a 532 nm excitation light. Optical fiber can be installed on the scanner, and exchangeable fiber probe is available.

(6) 1 T magnetic field is available by using a SC magnet coil at the same position.

(7) Extended functions related to AFM (MFM, EFM, KFM, etc.) are available.
